The Florida Chi Alumni Association has proudly donated four outdoor signs to the brothers of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Florida Chi Emerging Chapter at UTampa.
Eminent Archon Trevor Sandler ('25) stated, "These banners are huge, and will reach an audience from hundreds of feet away in all directions, and will be a great help in Spring recruitment." Sandler emphasized their utility, "Outdoor banners can be used in any number of Greek events." Brother Sandler listed, "This includes picnics, indoor or outdoor Intramural sporting events, fund raisers, pool parties, tailgating, and recruitment events.
These four - 12.5' banners are two sided, lightweight, easy to assemble, and all four can be stored away in 15 minutes. Each banner comes equipped with a sand box base for concrete surfaces, as well as a stake that can driven into the ground, so the banners have multiple applications for various outdoor events.
"Outdoor flags are an excellent local marketing tool." said Chapter Advisor Mark Turner ('83), "These flags are a perfect compliment to the Chapter for it's lightweight portability, the ability to target an audience geographically, the bright colors, and the eye-catching way it waves in the wind to attracts viewers. Brother Turner emphasized, "In addition to the height of each banner, we printed each banner two-sided, so it doubles the exposure for a larger outdoor audience."
Turner concluded, "The strength of the flag materials and the durability of the lightweight aluminum poles will make these displays usable for many future chapters."
