Florida Chi Emerging Chapter adds 14 new brothers in Spring '25 recruitment class.

Updated: Mar 9

The Spring recruitment class for the Florida Chi Emerging Chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon at UTampa has landed 14 outstanding new brothers to the realm.

"This is an exceptional class of new brothers," said Trevor Sandler, Eminent Archon of the Florida Chi chapter, "as we sent out 14 bids and all 14 were accepted." stated Brother Sandler. "We are hopeful these new brothers will become an integral part of the 58 brothers of Florida Chi right away, and take on a leadership role within the chapter." Trevor concluded, "This is a big event for us, as we continue on the path of full charter status."

Recruitment Week was very successful for the chapter, as the week was filled with a wide variety of events including a "new brothers meet & greet" introduction, basketball, volleyball, poker, house night, personal one-on-one interviews, the bid review and the bid selection process.

"I couldn't be happier for the new brothers and the chapter," stated Chapter Advisor Mark Turner ('83), "as I told each of the new brothers they have made an excellent choice." Brother Turner continued, "With the chapter's continued push for full charter status, the Spring 2025 semester for the Florida Chi Emerging Chapter will be one of the most exciting semesters of their entire college career." Mark concluded, "Each of these new brothers have excellent leadership potential and it is my hope they take on greater leadership roles within the chapter and on campus at UTampa."

Special thank you goes out to Brothers Jake Juliano and Trevor Sandler for their photography expertise.
