The Florida Chi Alumni Association has awarded a $1,000 Leadership Grant to the Emerging Chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon at UTampa.
The Leadership grant will be utilized to send an emerging brother from UTampa to SAE's 86th Annual National Leadership School on January 9th through 12th, 2025 in Chicago.
Leadership school provides two tracks of education: Leadership for chapter members and an Executive Track for Chapter officers. This 4-day seminar helps develop leadership skills, gain knowledge necessary to manage chapter, and learn about alumni opportunities.
"We want to thank the Florida Chi Alumni Group for this generous donation," said Trevor Sandler, the Emerging Chapter Eminent Archon, "chapter management has numerous challenges and Leadership School can give us practical solutions, and fresh ideas." Sandler continued, "I look forward to bringing the information we learn back to the UTampa campus, and sharing the knowledge with all of our emerging brothers."
"Leadership School is an essential part of the development of any chapter," stated Chapter Advisor Mark Turner, "and a critical element in the growth of these men's leadership skills." Turner continued, "The knowledge they gain will be essential in their quest to attain charter status, and give each man an enhanced level of expertise in the business world following graduation."
